The Embedded Training Team will deploy in support of Operation EnduringFreedom, Afghanistan. The unit is composed of 18 Soldiers, providing advisory duties and training assistance to the Afghan National Security Forces. The Embedded Training Team will assist, mentor and train Soldiers in the Afghan National Security Forces to help develop their capability to fight terror within their country's borders. The unit will also provide expertise to the Afghan Regional Commander and primary staff in the areas of personnel, intelligence, operations, training, logistics, and engineering. | |
